Snapshots of the Bay's Garden

The signage that greets you as you enter Gardens By The Bay, the new garden located right smack beside the Marina Financial district along the Singapore skyline. More than just an ordinary garden, it is also a repository of some of the world's flora and fauna, and aims to not just be a passive garden, but also one that educates her visitors.
One of the canopied entrances to various locations around the park. It's design reminded me of those arch bridges, old-school design, but sturdy and seemingly more organic.
Part of the Cloud Dome that houses some of the fauna on display, against the Singapore's typical rainclouds. The temperature and humidity in the Dome is kept constant throughout to regulate the plants' growth, a significant deviation from what a normal regular garden would be.
The iconic SuperTrees, a collection of tree-like structure reminiscent of those found in the movie Avatar. More than just ordinary structures for aesthetical reasons, these also serve as ventilation structures as well as house some of the plant and flowering species.

The skyway built to accommodate those who prefers to have a helicopter view of the surrounding areas. Would prefer it to be even taller, but I guess it's enough nonetheless.
A tilt-shift view from the skyway. Love the perspective from the top, and thankfully it was a clear day while I was up there.
Another view of the Marina Bay Sands, the hotel that has been pictured to death by tonnes of photographers. Another view of the MBS, from one of the peering 'holes' at the Flower Dome.
This just reminded me of a giant pretzel!
The Flower Dome houses thousands of species of flowering plants, and it is indeed a sight to behold when you see almost the entire array of plants blooming at the same time. Here we see a little Jack-O-Lantern used as a decor for the upcoming Halloween celebrations, taken against the trusses of the Dome, with part of the Singapore Flyer in the background.
The irony of having a lift, to a lost world?
A lone-figure of a Halloween pumpkin icon hanging amidst the branches and trusses.
I love how the reinforcing beams just seem to permeate from a single-point.
